In private law practice since 1975, serving clients in general civil litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, incorporations and corporate law, asset protection, defense, Wills, Trust and Estate Planning, Probate practice including probate litigation.
Served as outside General Counsel of Vulcan Life Insurance Company for 14 years litigating all types of insurance issues throughout the United States. Served as Hearing Officer for 18 years for the Defense Department in its CHAMPUS insurance program determining eligibility for coverage in all types of medical issues.
Served in leadership positions for the Alabama State Bar and Birmingham Bar Association, as well as a Trustee for the Alabama State Bar Lawyer Referral Service.

Member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, Eleventh and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal, United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, all State of Alabama Courts.
